Our program operates on the fundamental value of play in the developmental learning of happy, healthy children. We are a licensed, private school offering a balance of programming to meet the social, emotional, intellectual, creative, and physical needs of the whole child. We provide a program that fosters positive attitudes towards learning, using a wide variety of teaching methods and tools to meet this challenge.
We provide an environment that offers both freedom of choice and structured activities. Centres include dramatic play, blocks, woodwork, sand and water play, music, art, science and our environment, pre-math, and language skills. Circle time, story time, and outdoor playtimes are offered to facilitate these objectives. Field trips, volunteers, visits from pets, our opportunity to explore the Cochrane Ranch and our classroom mascot 'Buddy' will enrich the program.
We value the input and involvement of parents and the community in our program. Parent volunteers are a part of our program and we look forward to having you join us in class to experience first hand what your child is learning. The children love to share their day and their new friends with you. We have an open door policy, and welcome communication with parents. You are the expert on your child and together we will create an environment that your child thrives in.
